I saw a tv program on people who have intersex traits, and the controversy surrounding the reactions of medical personnel to babies born this way, some doc's wanting to "correct" <in quotes, not something I automatically subscribe to> this "issue" <again in quotes>.
In slight relation to this - regarding puppies, some bitch pups display more "dog" tendencies when marking, i.e., high leg lifting, possibly due to hormonal drift in relation to placement of male and female puppies in womb.
