Canada introduces plastic bills of $50 and $100 today.

looks cool! defintely makes it harder to fake it.

And i hope it's waterproof!

I agree they look cool. I bet they won't wear down as easily as money made out of paper.
 
It is waterproof and will not melt in dryer. :)

I already tried it with Australian money. :) I got about $35 Aussie dollars in my wallet.

mate, this will happen in the U.S soon enough than you think. You will need to get over with that. :aw: Cotton made monies are too easy to break and make fake and get through the circulation. Plastic can't and it is very hard to do - this kind is the same as Australian monies and it has been around for more than 15 years.

That's correct, it wont melt at all. Even, it will fall out in the washing machine when the machine washes your clothes. Finder's keepers. :lol:

Australia's Polymer banknote is the only country have specs to do money maker and serve for many countries while US is doing their own to keep true "Made in USA"

I wouldn't be surprised if all of the vending machines will have to be modified to accept these bills. I know they had to modify all of the machines to accept the new dime years ago due to the change in the weight and depth, which was an incredibly small change, yet made a big difference.
