Not even close.

There are those that think your claim of being a business man is so much hot air, as well. But that is beside the point that it most certainly does take business skills to function as a community organizer. Perhaps they are simply business skills that you, yourself don't possess.:cool2:

Personally, I hope that the Repubs keep trotting out hopefuls like Cain.

Nah, I organized a "fun run" once.

An Atlantic black? A new one, oooooo.
He's definitely not an African if he was born in Atlanta. Last I checked, Atlanta was still part of America.

Check out this link and African American is just part of ethnic group and Cain is African American.
African American - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I call him as black, though.
This is the original post to which I replied:

"But feel that Cain might be "a factor"...he's an African-Black also..."

It doesn't say "African-American"--it says "African-Black." That means, someone from Africa, not an American.

Yeah, that was very awkward wording on her part. I'm guessing she tried to just combine "african-american" and "black", and the end result was more confusing than either one on their own.

:nono: actually she is right. Community organizers Have to set up tables, make posters and order t-shirts......much like companies do for their picnics. And don't get me started on hiring clowns....those people can be REAL flakes.

Ok, I missed something.

It seems like poster started mix up the word.

And balance budgets, negotiate contracts with outside companies, create advertising and other promotional campaigns, etc. Though those clowns really are a bitch.

And be President etcetera. :)

 contracts? I included the t-shirts.

Nah, there are skills needed for sure....but I wouldn't equate them to running/owning a business. Hence the "not even close" comment.

Yeah...he sure could and can "talk the talk"....but people are thinking that "he can't or won't walk the walk"....Won't surprise me at all if Obama will win the election again....people "forget" so easily!...Such as "he killed Osama!"....let's vote for him again....

But feel that Cain might be "a factor"...he's an African-Black also...

Here in Jax, we got our first African-Black for our Mayor, Alvin Brown....he says "he's for all of us Downtown".....but, word was abound that the "reason" he won was because of the Northwest section of town, which is mainly predominent Black....with all the racial problems we have here...I'm "hoping" he will make a difference!....Wait and see.

Hopefully..Brown can get the crime rate down.. Shootings are an everyday thing here in Jax now-a-days. Which is one of the reasons why I am sooooo glad to be moving back to country.

Don't know much about top level community organization, do you?:laugh2:

It would appear that you elevate the skills of owning and running a business into an area far and above that which they belong.:cool2:

The primary difference I can see is with whether the budgeting needs to break even, or if it needs to make a profit. But then, I don't think we want our government trying to make a profit, since it would simply be making a profit off of all of us.

Or being CEO of a company.

It seems more like you are trying to devalue Cain's experience as a businessman.
