I am seriously curious. What is your personal recommendation for solving the SS situation?

So far, I have seen no plans that seem satisfactory. Any ideas?
 
Basically, the Social Security Trust Fund is in good shape. That it needs an overhaul is just a right-wing LIE.
Last year the Fund took in $200 Billion more than it paid out, and in its lifetime took in more than $3 Trillion than it paid out.
Do not forget that Bush raided the Fund as soon as he took office and robbed us of $1.5 Trillion.
Our top economists agree that it should be good for another 40 years...BUT if more funds are needed, why then, tax the upper income workers who do not pay into the Fund, those earning 87 thousand or more a year.

I will post graphs and demographics later, right now I gotta get back to work.

Go and read this: http://www.alldeaf.com/showthread.php?t=13450 -- There is already solution for that problem. Social Security is NOT crisis. In fact, it has never been in crisis in first place... Well, for more than half of americans, Bush's retarded solution is not satisfactory as well. So far, I personally have seen no plans that seem satisfactory (I am speaking of Bush's retarded plans).
