JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — A bus driver in western Pennsylvania had a surprise passenger Tuesday night when a deer crashed through the windshield.
The bus driver John Porter said, “Just out of the blue, something out of the corner of my eye, I saw something come through the window and a deer was there.”
Officials said the deer ran around the public bus in Johnstown for about 20 seconds before the driver opened the door and the deer got off.
“It was kicking around pretty good,” said Porter.
The bus was only carrying one passenger at the time. Porter said the woman was on the phone at the time and was a little shaken up.
“I think she was more worried about how she was going to get home,” Porter said.
Porter said his hands were cut by broken glass, but he breathed a sigh of relief when the unexpected passenger ran off.
Porter was anxious to see the video after the incident and told his supervisor that he wanted a copy before it went viral.
The bus was taken in for repairs.

I saw this on the news and I could not believe that deer was able to get up and run away! My dad and mom where driving and hit a deer that killed the deer.
 
I saw on Facebook with one of my Deaf friends who shared the video of the deer being hit and went through the windshield. Poor deer was so confused and wanted to run away very badly but he was trapped in the bus. I do hope the bus driver and the deer are fine. That would be a miracle that both of them did not get hurt or killed. This is really amazing.
 
I remember when I had my first car crash in US. I avoided a deer crossing the street (I drank over 1.75 liter of baracadi rum that 4 or 5 am). I hit a tree instead off-road.

Then in court. Judge was saying, it's better to hit animal than a human walking around nearby (even though that wouldnt have happened, there was practically no one around). I bluntly said I'd rather kill a parasitic human being than any animal. Judge then suddenly said, "is there any PETA member in this room?....No? Good."

I was underage (under 18) and um... ok, this thread isn't about my life lol.


That poor deer better be alive today :)
