I was chatting with a friend via AIM and browsing the internet. Suddenly, a couple of keys were really sticking. They would go down, but not back up as quickly as it should. Some of the keys felt that they were gooey when being pressed.

So, I decided to check my keyboard to see what the problem was.

After taking it apart, I found that it was extremely filthy. I took the whole keybpard apart... piece by piece... except for the electronic parts.

I even removed the keys.

After cleaning up and double-checking everything, I finally got everything clean. Whew!

Here are a couple pictures of my keyboard all apart... :)

Yea, I've experinced a keyboard get very filthy inside, I cleaned it up and then painted my favorite blue on top till dried out and put back on, it's work great.

I'm thinking about taking it all apart again in a few months, clean it up really good, and then spray paint it black, red, and white. ;)

Ahhh, Here's your solution..

NO MORE DRINKS OR FOODS NEARBY YOUR KEYBOARD.. making your keyboard will come sticky and dirt dusty inside coming from your foods or drinks...

You have to learn stay away keyboard from your foods! :D
:deal: lol

I've been there and knew coming from foods inside my keyboard.. Pretty interesting... Once a week, Every time I clean the keyboard inside out of dust... or explain you later when I meet you in person..
you'll understand I'm trying to say..

Wonder how do u clean the keyboard ? I usually
use the rubbing alcohol and Q-tip.

(editing to corrected the word changing
from cotton swab to Q-tip)

It wasn't from drinks or food. I always keep my area clean of food and drinks.
