Woman Angry Over Death of Chihuahua

ST. PETERS, Mo. (June 8) - A woman angry that her new puppy had died pushed her way into a dog breeder's home and repeatedly hit her on the head with the dead Chihuahua, authorities said.


The 33-year-old woman told police she had taken the puppy to a veterinarian, who said it was only 4 weeks old and needed to be returned to its mother. But before she could return the puppy, it died.


Early Wednesday, the woman went to the breeder's home, pushed her way inside and began fighting with the breeder as she tried to make her way to the basement to get another puppy, police said.


The breeder wrestled the woman out of her house to the front porch, where the woman then hit the breeder over the head numerous times with the dead puppy, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported, citing police.


As she pulled away, the woman waved the dead puppy out of the car's sunroof and yelled threats at the breeder, police said. She later called the breeder and threatened her and her family, according to court records.


Police said they are considering felony burglary charges against woman and misdemeanor assault charges.
 
Disgusting. I would say something about the breeder, but the fact that someone bought from them doesn't say much about the buyer.
 
It is almost funny to read this one but stranger things have happened. That is not a very good situation. :ugh2:
 
:jaw: ~ Not very NICE breeder and also Buyer should respect and speak it out w/Breeder politie way... If Breeder refused anything.. Buyer can rights file complaint againist Breeder due puppy was leaving premiess 4 wks of age.. then died.. Court will grant to Buyer and require $ refund any cost include vet's cost too..

Too late Breeder and Buyer are both dumb and wasting time wrestle it.. LOL

Yes- the breeder is very wrong to sell an underaged pup however the buyer's behavior is totally unacceptable. The poor dead dog was used to hit the buyer. I understand the pup died on its own but still it is totally unacceptable. I am very sickened to hear this.

I say it is BOTH their faults. the breeder shouldn NOT sell the puppy until it's matured enough and the woman should've known better about pups so she sold an underage pup to her, and she later beat her with the dead pup and tried to steal another one so it's fucking crazy for both of them to do that.

Agreed! The woman had every right to be angry but she handled it in an extremely inappropriate way.
 
Ah thats sick. That woman should respect the dead puppy. Not hitting the breeder on the head with it. Seriously thats fucked up. Also the breeders should know better not the sell the 1 month puppy.

Yes both are guilty. I have seen many tiny fragile chihuahuas at my work. Ooh sooo tiny. Sigh a Poor dead Pup .. RIP 4 weeks old is too young to be taken away from its mom! A dumb breeder and a dumb buyer. :mad:
 
I'm all pissed-off when coming to reading the newspaper. This women was pretty out of her mind on hitting a breeder with the pup's body. She was using this like a rag doll. It's sickening. RIP puppy. The lady who did it, shouldn't get any more canine or a feline or other animal. Jeez. :mad:

The breeder also supposes to know the laws of the nature: a pup or a kit cannot be taken from its mother until it weans off first and is strong enough to leave its home. I got this cat Muffy who was only 6 weeks old when I got it from the house lady who breds it. Didn't know this pitiful kitten kept on crying non-stop so I nursed it with the KMR formula and nurser bottle until he weaned off on his own. He missed his own mommy and daddy (he was there on the roof looking proud of his litter). No more kittens for me to nurse...jeez. The vets made a mistake that kittens can go home at 6 weeks old, the old book I had is has to be at least 2 mos old.

Yeah, I'll say! They'll never run an alleged puppy mill again and get rid of the puppies way before they're ready to be weaned.

As for the lady with the dead puppy . . . give her a medal and a key to the city, she's a hero. Puppy mill now out of business.
