Boy Charged For Meowing At Neighbor Lady

Well I was at a Ballpark and a foul ball came by and i wrestled it from a kid.He and i got to the ball at the sametime.Then his dad came over to me and said ""Next time i see you wrestling a ball over any kid or mine in gonna kick your ass"" Then i went over to a cop and told him i wanna press charges on a threat on assult the guys dad made to me.The Cop told me Just because someone says hes gonna kick your ass doesnt consitutue a threat so i wont arrest him for it..And then he said ill tell you what i will do,,Ill talk to him and warn him if he does anything like attack you i will arrest him. See Saying ""Meow"" Doesnt hurt anyone just like anybody can make threats to you but saying it to you.But you cannot write a letter and say it to em or make threats over the phone cause thats a Federal law.But Theres no Law anyone making threats to you.Now if thats the case this proves cops are assholes.Its all about THE POWER OF THE BADGE Just Like Cops can speed 20MPH over the Speed limit and not get a ticket for it..Run Though a Red Light without flash lights on and not get a ticket for it.Park in a Fire lane to get a couple things out of store and not get a ticket for it.BUT YOU WILL!!!

i dont see a lot of cops here doing that unless they are working. i do see firetrucks do it all the time almost every single day. they park the big firetrucks in front of the store and block up the entire grocery loading area. I hate it when firemen do it

Yes that´s right but see this link, I provided... Old lady have been put up with this for 3 years. 3 years is rather too long... like what 2Hot4you said "The article says its everytime the boy sees her. should she stay in her house all day? what if she wants to sit on her porch to enjoy the weather or somethin' and this boy keeps coming over and taunting her." A lady got to stop and tried to talk the mother of teenager how she felt. Guess what, the mother do NOTHING... not even teach her son to respect... or tell him to stop... but allow him to harrass/haunt her because she think its nothing wrong... What a unbelievable!

I find very sad that a mother exposed her son like this... to become disrespectful person... Sad...

3 years? I would not like it... I would not press the charge against boy but report CPS with complaint against the parents for neglect parental´s discipline.

It is stupidest arrest ever the boy that I even been heard! That's bullcrap, the cop arrest the boy, but he is under 18, he can't charge a crime. Why cop must arrest him. Because cop is a job. I don't like this cop. Maybe, he is his boss wants him to arrest the boy. However, I bet that it is only
believe he is under 18 so he can't get a criminal record.
Anyways, that is harmless to say, "Meow". It's not a threat! I belive

Do you mean that harrassment with cuss or whatever on neighbor for 3 years is freedom of speech? To me, it´s not freedom of speech but freedom of abuse and disrespectful. Mother should teach his children to show their respect to anyone or neighbor.

Well, it works easily... It will stop boy to say MEOW to you if you say MEOW back to him. It´s a simple but I see the article that a lady is over 78 years old. I can understand that she is a old lady, that children should show their respect on old people... You know what sort old people is. About cat issues, I see no excuse to give cat away and blame neighbor... Why can´t mother use litterbox in her house instead of let cat go out... :roll:

It didn´t say about "sexual harrassment" in article but just harrassment... Mother allow her son to bother neighbor continue for long 3 years that´s why it has to stop. Neighbor already remind mother about call a cop but mother said "go ahead".. then neighbor call cop... but I would not do that when I were neighbor to call cop... I would call CPS for parental discipline neglection.

I would consider it as harrassment when the children keep on knock or press the door bell on houses and run away. It was happened to us before... My son caught him and then got us to inform his parents and told them what happened... His parents do SOMETHING is ground him for harrass people with knock or press the door bell... Boy apologied to us. Next time he never do that again... which is good. I´m glad that the parents do something because it´s their job to teach their children what right or wrong.

Please do not confuse between sexual harrassment and just harrassment... I´m glad to not have disrespectful and ignorant people to live next me....

Liebling, I live on a cul de sac quiet street, my next door neighbor's children has been harassing me and my children for almost 10 years now, her children would damaged my property, hit, pushed and calling my children a bunch of names while they're playing outside, her children also rode their bikes on my front yawn, drive-way even would stand in my driveway and scream by throwing plastic easter eggs, toys, rocks etc...they would dig up holes on my lawn near the side of the drive-way....I've filed a number of complaints with the police department, and of course, they would deny any part of it and the mother believes everything her children tells her etc when she is never outside watching her children all the time.. I've became very exhausted and frightened for my children and from all of what has been happened over the years, and having to take care of all damaged those children did on my property, and wasting money to fixed up etc....You will see for youself when you come over this July, and see how I put up with my next door deighbor's children....

and move another location where you feel comfortable suitable good neighbours around along children down the streets.. would be great benefits..

That is one of harassment ways. Only way to stop them is charge against harassment people.

That's how many people are doing and that will bring more and more law in the book and court is out of hand. Sexual harrassment for hugging, saying nice thing to you, is sexual harrassment, mostly if not pretty or goodlooking, easily press charge against them bec their looks. Even tho, by claiming court wont jusdge by looks, but lately, it has been. More and more people becomes feeling lonely and cold shoulder treatment is out of control and so forth bec fear someone will press charge against you. It's totally pathetic and inhumane. Most the reason is get the money, and the court thang is more like a lottery place.

Oh my dear! I can feel your pain... I would suggest you to check with CPS on them. It can´t be like that for other 10 years like this.

The neighbors are supposing to support each other when the problems come... It´s about their children... then the children will learn what wrong or right.

Let me share my story bit, why I suggest you to check with CPS to check their background...

I remembered the happened back few years ago in 1998... We have a neighbor few houses away from my house... They are divorced and have to sell their house... Another married couple bought their house... It begins to have problem more and more at them... They are being harass from few bad behavior children/teenager - damage their property... until one day, their metal fence damaged... I wasn´t realized until the police was at my step door and ask for Alan... Here is Alan... Police was like because Alan is a little boy and asked Alan question then Alan begin cried and said it´s not him who damaged neighbor´s fence... I asked police to tell me what happened... They did... I knew straight way it´s bad behavior children/teenagers who live near their house... Police told me that they are going to check Ken´s mother as well (Alan´s best friend). I told them that we came with them to Ken´s mother... Ken´s mother knew the same as me... Police told us that a couple neighbor call police on Alan & Ken after beleive children/teenager´s word for blame Alan & Ken for damaged their fence because Alan befriend with Tobas who live next doors to bad behavior children/teenagers. We beleive that Tobias have to say lies for them to blame Alan and Ken... I was like WHAT and told police why can´t neighbor confront with me or Ken´s mother if they have problem with our children then.. Police was like huh and agree to go with us. Couple neighbor were like Huh? when they saw Alan & Ken because they are too little and how could they cut to damage their metal fence to make hole? with heavy metal scissor? Couple neighbor invited us in their house and have drink with them... They are very upset that they spend a lot of money to replace the damages... Police suggest them to get hiddern video camera where the damages place, they often did in the past... I suggest couple neighbor to ask ex-neighbor about this... Police check with each houses next their house where children/teenagers live... and then call CPS to check their background.... Few of them move out... no more happeend ever since. That´s why I suggest you to check with CPS and told them everything what you had told us here. What the neigbor children did is not acceptance. 10 YEARS is toooo long... Would you like to have other 10 years ... ? No Way... CALL CPS on them....
