These child killers need to STOP!!

Damn, another one!? This is getting out of control!

Now police say they are almost positive it is this girl because the description of the girl's cast matches that of the corpse found in the water, and other clues. :(

RUSKIN, Fla. - Authorities said Saturday they were “almost positive” they have found the body of a missing 13-year-old girl after recovering a corpse from a pond that appeared to match her description down to her green arm cast.

Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee said the body was found in an abandoned fish camp about a half mile from Sarah Michelle Lunde’s home. Gee said the cast was apparent when the body was found; Sarah had a bright green half cast from a left wrist injury.

“We’re almost positive it’s her,” sheriff’s spokeswoman Debbie Carter said.

Authorities said they hoped to determine a positive identification and cause of death during an autopsy.

Intensive search
Sarah was last seen on April 9, shortly after she returned home from a church trip and around the time a registered sex offender unexpectedly paid an unexpected visit to her family’s home. The teen was reported missing Monday when her mother learned she wasn’t at a friend’s home.

Gee has said that David Onstott, who once dated the girl’s mother, has drawn investigators’ attention, but he has not been named a suspect.

Onstott, 36, was being held after he was arrested Tuesday for allegedly threatening a man with a screwdriver at a bar. He spent 5½ years in prison after being convicted in 1995 of sexual battery with physical force.

Gee said he believes the body had been in the pond since shortly after Sarah disappeared. He said searchers would keep looking for articles of clothing Sarah might have been wearing at the time of her disappearance.

“The family is very distraught. It’s a tough time for them and we’re trying to assist them in that,” Gee said.

About 200 volunteers joined detectives Saturday in a search for Sarah, some hugging and crying as helicopters buzzed overhead. A day earlier, detectives told volunteers to point out any bottles of Budweiser or Bud Light they found. Sarah’s brother said Onstott took a half-empty beer bottle during his pre-dawn visit to their home.

Bottles tested for evidence
On Saturday, Gee said many beer bottles had been found and were being checked to determine if any DNA evidence is on them.

The fathers of two previously slain girls have been involved in the search for Sarah: Mark Lunsford, whose 9-year-old daughter, Jessica, was found dead last month after disappearing from her Citrus County home, and Roy Brown, whose 7-year-old daughter, Amanda, was killed by a convicted child molester in 1997.

Roy Brown said he was concerned about Sarah’s mother.

“I just wanted the mom to know I’m here. Because things change, once the media and the searchers go, once it’s all over, she still needs people,” he said.

Things like this Piss Me Off beyond belief. Why does something like this have to happen to a child? These Sick Freaks need to have their Genitals Ripped Off. :pissed:

Sounds like Florida needs stricter laws for sex offenders. I think this would work just fine. :fruit: :rl:

Why these molesters raping girls and dumped them somewhere?
Why can't they get some women and sleep with them?

It's not florida that needs laws that are more strict...it's the government and the Justice system that needs to get their laws more strict.

Actually, it's both. We need uniformity in these laws, which is the governments job. And, Florida needs to strengthen it's law. This relates more to the Jessica Lundsford case, but why the hell they allowed that idiot to slip away unnoticed is beyond me. On top of that, why isn't it a crime to knowingly harbor a unregistered sex offender? These are two things that need changing, and QUICK!

I saw this on the news yesterday, I was pretty sad to know her body was found, I was hoping she was missing and find alive later on but it didn't turn out that way..... :(

I do think the government should be hard on the sexual offenders cause there just too many out there walking around freely near children and no one really knows if this sexual offenders comes into town or happen to move somewhere else....The only people that knows about sexual offenders is those who live near them.....Still it's not enough and it sure not protecting those innocent children either...

I personally think they should be somewhere far away from children, otherwise it's more like we have to keep an eye open on everything around us, how can we live in a world where we have to watch our back all the time and our children when we are not so sure if this person is a murder or a sexual offenders.... Such a cruel world we live in, wish it wasn't like this....

Unfortunately, this is true.

Best way is to save children, give them Defense lesson.
Because children are smaller and weaker...
so why not give them karate class lesson?

My nephew took Karate lesson, and he learned a lot.

How to protect himself from predators.

And make sure they know what to do if predators grab them
or try to choke them...

Kick, scream, punch, scratch, and use tools to hit, and run.

What about children under the age of 6?...

Not really sweetie, I know this cause I have 3 children, they can't learn to protect themselves when the Adults are a bit stronger than they are....
