Interesting! My friends and I were talking about that yesterday while we had small cook out together. I totally forgot about it till she brought that up. I looked it up..WOW! I have to cut few out of my diet till I loose weigh...and maybe I can have it back but not all the time...maybe few times a month, that's it.

I am O+ so I will try to cut out what's on the list that I cannot eat....see how I'll feel and hopefully I can loose weigh...

Since it says "Meat Eaters", you can eat meat and some vegetables... as long as you keep your carbs low. You'll be fine.

Last time I was on that diet, I lost 40 lbs in 3 months... then 30 lbs in 3 months (a year later). What I did was eat a small low-carb snack for breakfast, a nice salad for lunch, then a good meaty meal for dinner. As long as I wasn't eating after 7 pm and my carb count was less than 30 grams a day, I did fine. :)

I'm not going to turn into a Vegetarian so I can lose the weight.

By the way, don't eat lots of meat, so.....
 
Type A here...but I'm not Vegetarian!!!! Although I don't eat meat that much, mostly Chicken or tofu chicken flavored. This is interesting....

he taugh me this! so all i need to know what is my blood type! grr!'
now i am working on it.. rme! and study! what is fit for me! i better shake my dr's neck lol!
 
That's interesting. I hadn't thought about the Blood Type Diet. I'm a O+.

I'm already a meat eater and it's no wonder the low carb didn't do it for me.
 
O+ I did not know about this diet, but I already eat the one recommended for my bloodtype.
 
Yea...I am trying to loose weigh...so I thought trying that method to see if that would work for me...of course eat small plate of meal, 3x a day. So I'll just test it...and see if that work. Meaning no breads or potatoes for me for a while...oh well! I can live without them.

Only problem is and I know I should know this - I have no idea what my bloodtype is! :eek:

The list doesn't show what kind of person you are, just what kind of food will likely work best for you based on your blood type.

If you don't need to go on a diet, then there's nothing to worry about. If you did want to go on a diet, then the list is saying that a vegetarian diet would probably work best for you.
 
jo, yes it is interesting.. but i learned that from the guy who studied nurtion. (sp)
he said it should follow .. sadly alot people doesnt know this even dr wont tell anyone! image ya!

lake tahoe, good good just keep working on it..until you succeed! i am working on it too but need to know what is my type oh well! when i find out, that it! i gone to make a correct diet!

dixie you can go blood bank or drug store or whatever if they have little kit that can tell you what is your type.. i dontknow price..i hope it cheap.. try to do little research it, alright! cool!
 
Very interesting... I cannot remember which blood type I have. I will check when I am home from work...

I noticed that if i eat diary products I tend to get constipated from that.. so that is interesting to know about this..

I have potassium deficiney so that is another interesting thing for me.. hmm..

it said I should have iodized salt.. but bad news i am "NOT" suppose to have salt in my diet due to water retention as I have Meniere's Disease. Sucks?

so interesting... hmmmm i love homemade beans and i am surprised at this? but then i dont eat it all times.. i eat it once in a while.. like once a month.. i thought they are good for us cuz they are high in fiber?? weird... oh well ha.. :)
 
I am type A and it says I can eat chicken and fish even if it says no meat. Interest about some foods, alike melons and banana are not good for type A. I get stomach upset after eat them.

I would NOT put alot of stock into this diet. In fact, it sounds rather unhealthy. I think one would lose weight, but only because you're restricting calories. You can lose weight with any diet by doing that.

I would ask all of you to please research this diet thoroughly and check with your Dr before you actually try it. I could be harmful.

Frankly, this diet plan gives me alot of misgivings and I would NOT be willing to try it, nor would I encourage my friends to try it. In fact, I would go out of my way to discourage anyone from going on this diet plan.
