I know this is kinda personal but people can PM me their experiences if they dont want to openly discuss.

I am just wondering your experiences with your monthly friend or lack of. I am now 3 months late, this has happened before but not this late. I am quite sick of this irregularar periods. it does frequently happen usually a month late then the cycle begins to regulate for 6 months or so.
I was quite an early bloomer at 10 years old and I am now 19 and it stilll hasnt really started to become regular constantly. I went to my previous GP a while back and he refused to give me the pill to help regulate it, he just gave me something that would just make my periods lighter which hasnt really helped.

Any advice??

If you can get in w/a Gyn that's your best bet... GP's don't typically like to deal w/this stuff much... (at least none I've had do)

I'll PM ya later!! Right now I need to get to work LOL

I am the same way....my period never show up on time...always irregular and dr said it is normal! I was like WTF?! Now I am pregnant, and I am not worry about having period! I hate it anyway!

i think you would go see OB/Gyn beacause they deal only women stuff only

i am having irregular period myself ugh i hate it

I had irregular periods and it even went non-existent for about a year, and it did this until I was about 24. Since then its been pretty regular.

You might want to inquire about an ultrasound. If you're skipping cycles, you might be dealing with ovarian cysts. They're nothing to worry about as they go away on their own (I have had them, so I'm speaking from experience) but these cysts can cause you to skip cycles. An ultrasound can also rule out anything else.

My menses become irregular when I reach in mid 30's so I went to my gyn/ob dr and he gave me birth control pill to bring my menses back. It worked for few months then it stopped completely. I had no menses for 3 years till they found I had high proclatin hormones in my blood. My body think I was pregnant but it was not. Since then I am on medicine to control proclatin hormones, my menses come back but sometime it become irregular then I need to increase my medicine stronger. I do not know what happen when medicine is no longer work for me. I enjoyed those three years of no menses and no pms.

U need to go on B/C to get it start because without mense is not healthy, someting wrong with your body IHMO.

Yes I agree with others you should have it checked out. I started mine at 13 but it became regular at 15. I also had severe pains/vomiting until the Hospital put me on drugs to stop it all together and let my body re regulate it's hormones during 18 months. after 18 months of no periods (aged 22 to 23 and to be honest it was nice break also i was able to travel during that time) I started again..... it had been normal and regular since.. no problems whatsover.

I would say have it checked out by professionals, pester your doc for referal or speak to other doc!

I finally started my period again after 3 long months. What the worst thing about not having a period is that I tend to have bad mood swings and take it out on people.
I have just changed my gp so as soon I get an appointment through for my first check up with him then Ill explain about my periods. I'm hoping he'll put me on the pill to help me regulate my periods. My last GP absolutely refused to because he said it would make me fat.

You can answer this question via PM if you prefer, but are you on any meds? Not menstrating can be a side effect of certain medications.

An OB/GYN is your best bet... Doctors, that are just in General Practices, does not specialize in that area.

I am surprised that your GP, has not referred you to an OB/GYN yet.

I would make an appointment with and GYN and have yourself checked out.

I started monday but still having mood swings, ah well....

I havent actually visited my new gp yet
