Thanks for the link. I agree with this quote: "If that [audio books] were good enough for everybody, why do we spend millions of dollars teaching people to read?"

It is interesting to see that ability to read Braille is coorelated with higher levels of education.

The link is on American blind people. What about the British blind people?? I tried to google on that but couldn't get it. Do you know how many blind Brits read braille?

No. We don't have a National federation of the blind in Britain. There might be a group of concerned blind people here in britain but I've not been able to locate them yet. I should imagine the figures were about the same though, although I could be wrong?

Whatever! :topic: about Animal testing. Stay on the thread. I want to get cure for my retina to see from blind spot. I has a thin blood vessels inside the eyeball.

I wish for someone shouldn't judge on people with vision loss and they wish want to get visual back. It's their decide. And it's my decide.

I am consider to make a thread then.

I agree and want the same for myself. I also think that should not be judged by anyone else, as they can make a different decision for themselves.

Our decisions shouldn't matter to anyone but ourselves.
