Which one the best qualify t.v. LCD screen OR HDTV flat screen ?

Actually I've seen the lcd t.v. seems okay but if you're standing angle of 90* degree and hard to see Blur doesn't look good quality..
I'm seek for 100% qualify t.v. come w/90* angle degree better looks reason rest of family are tend sit and watch t.v. because have 2 sofa long seat and love seat plus lazy boy chair..

Having hard time to seek right t.v. model..

What kind the lcd t.v. model suitable best...
JVC
SONY
other ?
Fill me in... info
before I'll buy the flat screen t.v.

Will plan have attached w/gamers on line, DVD, Cable station(Rogers company) and maybe will addy stereo speaker.
I hate seeing my children tend to volume up bit higher than 8+ and tired of it.. Now my children having hard time to hear and increase volume.. I believe the tv speakers getting weaker wear it out.. Kids fault because habits volume loud!!!! so we have been discuss and plan maybe to buy stereo speaker bass.. Sound perfect.
Anyway Discuss about t.v. issues...
Feed back please!

I am still boycotting Sony :p

So go for Sharp or Zenith but I suggest you go to store to look at all those TV's on Display so you can demo each to see which has better viewing angles, standing or sitting down etc and also check out CC quality (big or small or sharp or blur etc ) I keep forgetting what Stores Ontarios has Best Buy? If so they should have a room with all those TV's with seats. Go for Widescreen :)

Best TV Sony HDTV flat screen, I hope so.. My hard of hearing brother had one TV Sony HDTV flat screen 61 inch whoa!

My hubby & boys surprised me with LCD TV screen as I came home from 5 weeks spa and tell me that it's our Christmas present..... I think it's "Phillip"... It's an excellent picture quality; good sound (my sons told us)... I will check LCD TV screen when I'm home from Fitness Studio and will give you right name...

We are waiting for years to have LCD TV screen. My hubby got it 50% special price offer without inform me (I was in 5 weeks spa, that's time) because he want to surprise me when I came home...

I just brought new ILO 32 inches HDTV. I love it and enjoy it very much. Much better then my old tv. Also it is so light then my old tv way too heavy. LOL My old tv is 25 inches and it darn heavy. I just spoke to my son that he was playing his xbox360 game on my new tv and he was sitting on the couch and had no problem with angle. I am glad I brought it and will buy another one later once I move.

Oh by the way I had to go to cable company and inform them that I had HDTV. So the technician man came to install the new cable box for the HDTV. So if you buy HDTV and you may have to go to your cable company to inform them cuz the regular cable box wont work with the HDTV. Need to upgrade.

First you need to figure out how much you have in your budjet for a TV. Then decide on which technology you would like. In the HDTV market there are 3 major players in terms of technology.
LCD
Plasma
DLP
Here are some links that help describe the differences.

I was recently in the market and decided on LCD. The newer sets have a wide viewing angle and offer high resolution with good contrast ratios. The Sony AQOS is a good system but it's expensive. I went with a Magnavox and love it. Good luck in your decision!!

Really to me it doesn't matter as long the TV is working LOL...but it would be nice to have a silver one in my living room...All my three boys have silver TVs in their rooms...

avoid Burn screening and replace the special bulb kinda.. expensive.. that what I'm not buying like this...

Confuse which speaking specific t.v. kinds..
DLP, LCD, FLAT T.V SCREEN, PLASMA, and DLP TV
Drove me nuts..
High percent debate issues different opinion.. I felt alike take my time until right flat screen tv.

Yes the information can get a bit overwhelming even to a techno geek like me. You could always go with a flat screen CRT (Normal TV with a flat screen) but I am not sure if they offer HDTV or if the resolution is as high on a CRT as it is on an LCD, Plasma or DLP tv. The other thing you have to consider with regard to HDTV is that unless you have a HD source, you will not get the crisper high def picture. You must have a digital source to exploit the High Def capabilities. Digital sources are things like Digital Cable, DVD players with high def output, Digital antenna's and computers. I don't mean to add to the confusion and I hoipe some of this is helpful to you. It's funny that how nowadays nothing is simple anymore. Everything is technical and complicated. Geeze... lets just go back to watching the radio like our grandparents did. I guess watching a radio doesn't do much for a deafie though...

The best thing is to go to a store that has many different TVs on displays and ask the sales associate a few questions if they're not dumb enough. You can see the labels of model of the TV it is, like for example you're looking at a LCD HDTV.

CRT HDTVs do exist, but they're heavy, yet cheapest HD technology you can buy. There's not many of them though. LCD, Plasma, DLP projection, LCD/CRT projection is the most common type of HDTVs.

The average lifespan for a plasma TV can live for 20-30 years, if you watch 8 hours a day at a rate. LCD HDTVs can last for a long time. The backlit bulbs last for around 50,000 hours, so that's a pretty long time.

You need a HD source to display HD content though, via HD cable or a digital antenna.

Most LCD HDTVs have a viewing radius of around 160-170 degrees. 180 degrees is double of 90 degrees. I think plasma HDTVs have better viewing radiuses, not sure. You'd have to see for yourself. :)
