There's hooters, there's nude bars, and there's E3!

E3 grabs the most attention to customers by showing a bunch of hot and beauiful women dressed up as characters or symbols on the lastest videogames stuff...you would seen some dressed up as Lara Croft, BloodRayne, Sonya, Sarah, Tina, Ayane, Kasumi and many others in games booths at E3.

But now there's a ridculous non-sense issue...

they may have to ban booth babes...and FOR WHAT?!

sexy is a CRIME? beauty is a CRIME? attraction is a CRIME? then what is a crime?!

here's more details:

E3 Booth Babes Banned
Companies may have to rely on actual games to grab our attention.

January 24, 2006 - While the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo is certainly about games, the show is notorious for its often ribald atmosphere. By now, our readers are familiar with the barely-dressed "booth babes" which each year are as ubiquitous as the giant flat-screen displays and screaming speakers.

Game companies have long hired titillating models to lure drooling males to trade event booths. When this year's E3 comes rambling along in May, it could be a fully-dressed affair.

The show's directors have always published a dress code which would disallow bikini-wear and similar attention-grabbing garb. According to the E3 handbook, "Material, including live models, conduct that is sexually explicit and/or sexually provocative, including but not limited to nudity, partial nudity and bathing suit bottoms, are prohibited on the show floor, all common areas, and at any access points to the show."

Of course, in practice the rule is hardly enforced. This year's handbook, however, mentions a $5,000 fine for violating the code.

The Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the organization behind E3, says it will issue a first verbal warning for conduct violations. An second offense will incur the $5,000 fine, to be paid immediately. Models will also have to switch to more modest dress before returning to the show floor.

"What's new in 2006 is an update and clarification of the enforcement policies; as we do from time to time, we have taken steps to ensure that exhibitors are familiar with the policy and how it will be enforced," Mary Dolaher, E3Expo show director, told Reuters.

perhas without booth babes, E3 would be abit more boring... :| so lame.

I think this is stupid. I'm not saying that they need babes to make themselves look better. It's the roleplaying that makes them more interesting.

It's like going to an anime convention. A lot of people dress up as their favorite anime character. When you see them, it makes you think about the shows. It even makes us think more about who they are.

At E3, seeing these people dress up as game characters would make me go.. "Oh, cool! There's Lara Croft! Awesome! Oh wait, there's Duke Nukem!" Heh!

They might as well ban all models if they're going to be anal.

This is in actuality, better for the industry, IMO. The ladies still could be sexy, they just need to be creative with the suits. I remeber playing DOA3 and noticing some nice body suits and outfits. Not every babe in a videogame has to be scantly clad.

Yeah, I know about this. I see pictures of ladies of E3 this month. They have not banned yet. It looks like it going to be next year or not. I have no idea why they still there at convention.

I love ladies and they are so sweet to show boobie! LOL

My wife slap me so hard! Dang!
