Baby Boomer nostalgia thread

I remember wearing dark navy blue corduory bell bottoms. I wore them to my bowling league. My oldest brother had these awful orange and brown plaid pants that he loved. We also used to put the ribbon or fabric on the hems of pants and I also remember we used to put this "mod" ribbon onto the side seam of pants. My brothers had a buzz-cut haircut at all times until they were 13.
 
No, that he dared to return them for a new pair after wearing them for a whole year, every day. Not many people would take their old shoes back to the store after wearing them for a year and expect to get a brand new pair for free.

I misread your post. I thought you meant he had the nerve to wear them daily.
