For past two years, the pond literally dried up but at least I got to build a pier easily since there was no water. lol

But today's extremely beautiful and I had to take pics.

I dread that it may not last long. :(

It is the same to the infamous lake nearby just outside canberra in Australia, it dried up about 8 years ago, and for the first time in 8 years, it started to fill up since February.

My mom said that it has been raining so much in Phx lately and my dad said that the lakes around Phx are filled to their capacity.

Here in MD, the ground is so saturated that signs and trees are falling down.

Right, we're having a LOT more rain than usual here as well and that's why I am excited about the pond yet at the same time, I can tell it's just not gonna last long. The pond is not sealed but next time when it dries up, I'll have it sealed and hopefully have it last long enough not to dry up.

Don't quote me but I believe that is his property in Texas.

Yes, my property in South Austin. The house you see in pics is NOT my house. My property surrounds my neighbor's lot.

Here's the google map of my highlighted property so you can see the pond's relation to my house.
