A couple weeks ago, I was in the office catching up on some work and chatting with my friend. Suddenly, my friend screamed. It looked like she was gonna have a heart attack! Heh! Anyway, at that moment she screamed... I heard a loud THUD! behind me. I turned around and saw a duck walking around on the ground. She then told me that for a couple seconds, she saw something weird outside. Suddenly, it got bigger and bigger. It was that duck flying towards the window thinking that it was open space! Of course, this was in the evening around 1 am so it was dark outside and light inside so it looks clear as if there was no window there. Hehehe! So, this was a funny and interesting moment seeing a duck do this.

Has anything like this happened to you involving animals?

Hehe!!! Aww poor duck.

One time, my son told me that he heard a bird's noise in my chimney, so I checked it out and opened the fireplace doors... that bird flew in the house!! I was like, Oh great!! I had to chase it out of the house by opening the slide door and using a broom to shoo it out! LOL My cat was being a watch-cat... trying to catch that bird! Sheesh! What a zoo in this house!

This could be another reason why we see birds crashing into the tall buildings.

I'm in tall building (19 floors). All windows are look like a mirror. Go Firgure! 1 or 2 birds hit windows per week in a daylight and never stop. One window broke once since 4 years ago.

Hey V, what kind of duck or goose? Are they flying in the dark? They suppose to stay on the ground or on the lake every night for rest, look for food and sleep.

When I was teenager, I hit a Raccoon on country highway in late night. I pulled over and walked toward it. I removed it off the road and I noticed there were 3 roccoon babies. I felt quilty! Two weeks later, I hit a skunk! eewwww. Smell awful inside my car for three days!!!
