Very interesting. I am glad that you have been attending the Deaf Social, even Senior Deaf Social. I have been using the "E" touching the thumb instead of the space from the thumb. This is the way we sign the alphabet. I don't know why the space between the thumb and the fingers is like that. I do not like the "E" with the space from the thumb. I think some hearing person who invent the space between the thumb and the fingers must want to be seen easy, but that is no excuse to use the letter "E" different than the normal way that we are used to. You did the right thing by going to Deaf Socials and you will be fine and almost ready to be a pro at this Deaf Socials. Keep up with your signing. I applaude you!!!
