Don't forget that Enron played a major part in California's financial woes, and Schwartzenegger was in bed with them prior to the recall in 2001. *shrug*

Well, he is my Governor now (part time)..... *shrug* we shall see.

This place is in much worse shape than I thought....... I don't think Brown will succeed here. But I don't think anyone could.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with what he does here, though I do agree that he won't succeed completely. Nobody can in 4-8 years. It's going to take at least a decade of excellent policy management to turn this state back around.

*laughing* I notice one ADer can't even spell Arnold's last name right. Damn...really I can spell his last name pretty well without a mistake ever since I was 7. I used to be his fan from aged 4 to about 11. First movie I had ever seen him when I was 4 was Conan the Destroyer.. Yeah, I know many people including me would agree that Arnold is better off as an actor rather than acting as a governor. No surprise to us all that he majored in Economics at University of Wisconsin in middle to late 1970s. Well, all I remember was applauding Mr. Schwarzenegger over ONE thing: he vetoed AB 2072 due to biased.
Anyway, he's coming to the Queen City on January 27th and I'm forwarding to meet him in person. :)

Who?

Now the new governor of California will be a Mexican-American....it will be called Mexi-fornia in the foreseeable future. No matter how much they ruin California but will be always my hometown.

uracist?

No. It will be a fact. California has a high percentage of hispanic race, remember that.

Duh, I know that. I grew up in Sonoma County, which has a very high population of Latinos because of the wine industry.

They didn't ruin anything. In fact, if it weren't for them picking all the grapes and working cheap in all the restaurants, the area wouldn't be as affluent as it is.

there's a lot of Asians too....but we only make up 4% of the American population. =/

:) I grew up in Sonoma County, too. I love the area.

It's going to take a decade or more of excellent policy management to turn the US back around, too.

Hope whoever the newest Governor is will do a decent job despite all the constraints.
