The price of the batteries are unrealistic for general public. It's a rich man's electric car, by the way. I hope they will find a way to produce the batteries in a cheaper way and improve distance between charges which will attract travelers who want to go on a long trip per charge. Also, they would want a quick charge than 3.5 hours of charging batteries.

Wow, that sounds expensive but seems little reasonable for $25,000 depends on income but I bet that middle and upper class will afford it.

Hmm... Tesla sounds like a good name for an electric car like this.

I'm familiar with a famous scientist named Nikola Tesla who worked with electricity.

It sound interesting but I heard that it's not good for motorway (freeway)... It's suitable for driving to city/town... Perhaps it's only rumor... :dunno:

:werd: libeling id like to see it work on both ways and not just short drive either
and if we do get it id like to see plugs ready in the ground so we can plug it up while we go shopping and not run out of battery

Nah. Telsa does seem beautiful, but
I would prefer 2-3 seat small air-jet
to fly over and above these annoying traffic
plus these red traffic stop lights.

^ I agreed with her!!!!

Seriously, I do NOT think electric car will ever be in mass production. There has been attemption in getting Electric car in mass production since when? 1890!!!

Yes 1 8 9 0!, not 1980!

i am not drooling LOL

am not sure if this car will be safe on freeways since it is too small

I've heard battery powered cars are really not green energy. Unless the electricity is hydro in its source, the emissions from a fossil fuel powered power station is greater than a fossil fuel powered car.

Any one else heard that?
