I never said that I NEVER gave her the appropriate food -- it was a disorder she had -- a health disorder that couldn't be cured through hard food for her to grind on to keep her teeth down. We took her to the vet several times to get her teeth grinded down to assist her in eating better.

I know why. They are so cute pet and rats is smart than dog and cat. And easy clean. Dog and Cat have hard time for you. That's how the people favor rats, all small animal. Almost like Toy Dogs.

Whatever...its your opinion of rats..thats fine with me..its just me that dont like rats..i love dogs so dog is my choice of pet..not hard for me at all..he is a very smart dog and he is clean too.

I am a rat guardian but I had the job of taking care of a couple of snakes before I knew rats. I am not really sure how snakes should be fed but from a rodent point of view death by freezer is no less cruel then death by snake. Plus there is the added problem that some snakes don't like to eat dead food.

Ideally snakes shouldn't be kept captive at all. In this way they wouldn't have this moral dilema as to what to feed them with. Has anyone tried giving the snake mice that have been drugged with sleeping tablets first? So they wouldn't suffer so much? Is there any more humane alternative then death by freezer because contrary to what some people suppose it takes about 4 hours for things to freeze and the rodents will have suffercated long before that. As someone who once experienced having a pillow stuffed over my head I can assure anyone that not being able to breath is as scary as it gets!

It must be a really wretchard existance for a captive snake. Shame they can't be rehabilitated back into the wild.
 
I like rats as pets... they are cute... i am not scared of mouse or rat...
 
I do like rats and mouse but not WILD ones. YIKES! :eek3: Just pet one is fine. :thumb:
 
im not scary of rats or mouse

when i was little girls im love mouse and im been kept mouse for years till died but im wishes i would get another mouse one days but not rushed!
