Anyone knows a speech software?

Is there or some companies provide a special software for us to improve our speech?

I have thought that RosettaStone would have helped, but I think it is for adjusting a person's voice before he/she starts to play a "game words." This is probably not suit for us.

There are indeed lots of software that speech pathologists can use in which the software will recognize when the speaker is speaking - and identify what sounds needs to be corrected.

The problem with using speech recognition software with deaf children/adult is that they cannot hear the software correcting the target speech sounds...as hearing children/adults would hear it and learn to self-correct. Thus there is not a lot of benefit. However, if the deaf adult would learn how it works, then s/he can use visual means to identify what target areas to work on. For example, in London there's the Speechhelper software (although I've never heard of any deaf persons using this software) that the person can actually see on the screen what errors are being made.

One time, I tried to use Dragon Naturally Speaking. Use my voice into Microsoft Words. My voice is not correct speech. Dragon Naturally SPeaking does not understand my "Deaf" voice. My wife tried.... still no success. This software is great for my hearing children.

Oh really. Oh boy...

I wonder if the Galluadet has the software that might sell it to us. I remember that there was an article about a hearing woman designed her software at Gallaudet, and it was announced 10 years ago. Maybe, the software is completed.

It would not be a good if the Gallaudet owns the software that cannot be sold to anyone because I haven't heard the announcement since then. This means that anyone wants to learn to speak that have to take the class there in order for the college to make a profit. But, I could be wrong about that.
