how long it will take for a letter mailed from here (down near the Cape in Mass ) to arrive in Central Mass? I just sent someone a letter....and I need prayers that things will work out OK. I wrote a long involved letter to someone I had a HUGE HUGE fight/fallout with, and I am afraid that making contact might get me into some trouble. However I did feel that I needed to write to this person to explain things, since I don't believe I did anything wrong....still scared thou....pray that OB understands when she reads the letter.......

:( If you mail your letter right from the Post Office, it would usually get to it's destination the next day. If from the mailbox near your home, then it will take a couple of days.

I am so sorry to hear that you're going through this deafdyke, and I hope that the person on the other end of this letter will realize that you're trying to do no wrong.

You're always so helpful to people when I read different postings from you, and continue to be that way. I hope this person sees that side of you too. Good luck and here's a big :hug: from me.

Well......I think she might have gotten the letter.....She unblocked me on AIM.....still kinda nervous....I ran downstairs to call my buddy Becca....I'll keep everyone updated....nervous....she hasn't IMd me yet...so I dunno.
 
best is to drop off mail at PO if you want the person to get it more faster and quickly than send out of your own mailbox...

:hug: :hug: Give her time my friend, she maybe just as nervous as you are. She has to know how much you care about her and getting your friendship back together with her. Today everything is emails, text messaging, but not too often letter writing like you did. She has to realize you went out of your way for a reason. She'll come around, and all this will be put behind you. Good luck friend!!!! :ily:
 
damn.....she IMd me and said that she never got the letter....that her computer had a virus and went back to the old buddy list....DAMN DAMN DAMN....On the upside, she did seem rather civil about my inquireres, as oppossed to being an enourmous bitch......
 
i believe in same town it takes the next mailing day.
in same state it takes next day or 2..
in elsewhere in mainland USA it takes 3 to 5 days.
that's what i was told by PO
 
and she'll probaly never read the letter now....she'll throw it in the trash or something..... I am sad :(
