I remember the comic magazine when I was in 2nd 3rd grade. Had an colorful way of swearing and interesting characters. So when the movie came out it was memory lane.

I was already familiar with the comics before seeing the movie.

There was a reference to the comics in the movie when Tintin had a picture drawn of him.
