Hey all,
Seems fair to let you know I'm lurking here. >.> I'm profoundly deaf with an implant on one side and hearing aid on the other (that doesn't do much). I never learnt to sign and am not in contact with any others who are deaf. Heres to me looking for a bit of community :P But then I'm kinda shy, so likely you won't see me much after this post :)

Hi! I'm shy too, but I like writing, so online I just write a lot, but if this were in person I'd be sitting in the corner looking scared! *waves*

I do hope that you try to get yourself involved! You will have so much more fun. I am a shy person in RL as well, but that doesn't stop me from having verbal diahrea on AD. :lol:
 
:welcome: to AD! Do you live in AZ? My elementary school in AZ was called Tumbleweed. LOL!

Hey, don't be shy here, this website exists with you and everyone in deaf culture in mind. If this were in person, I'd gladly be your wingman and prop you up to start a conversation with a girl here! ;) Just ask away, sometimes it will be commented on, other times "whatever", but have the experience you want here. :wave:
