Another Introduction!?

Hi, my names Shae ( or Lady Libra, whichever haha) and I'm a hearing person who wants to become more immersed into the deaf community. In the past 9 -10 months I've had SLG 101 and 102 and I've been to several Deaf Events.
Right now, I'm really determined to continue learning ASL on my own time since I won't be taking anymore classes. I really want to be fluent and make some more friends...:blah:

Anyway, I thought I would introduce myself! Thanks for reading!!! :dance2:

Thank you! Mainly my lack of money and time. I'll be going to a Cosmetology Institute in a month and I'm going to be in the classroom 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and then working at my part-time job afterwords.

Which is another reason why I joined the site. Not really for people to "teach me ASL and be my study buddy" but because I have had such a good personal experience with the Deaf Community and online might be a good way to make more friends in the culture and keep in touch. :)
