That doesn't answer my question. By "discuss" do you mean the teacher would tell the class which kinds of sexual behavior are right or wrong? What kind of format would this discussion be? What kind of curriculum?
OK how about this: a once a week for half a school year, 30 minute course on various sexual subjects? Not passing judgments, just open discussion within a classroom. They could include sex ed, orientation, and perhaps reproductive issues in the news, such as abortion and pro-choice. They could use video, textbooks, and Internet articles for the instruction. I know you are against abortion, so I am not going to debate that here.

My "kid" is 36 years old. When she was little the question didn't come up.
We are similar ages, you and I. It never crossed my mind that guys would like guys when I was young, etc.
