The thread is about coming to the understanding that not even the proponents of "traditional family values" really adhere to them themselves.
Does that mean Democrats aren't "proponents of 'traditional family values'"? Is that the reason their names aren't on "the list"?

It's a statement that the people who think they have moral supremacy are really no different than their opponents
Are you saying that the listed people think they are morally superior to others? Where and when did they state that?

Then that really isn't saying anything. Many democrats claim to have the same values, yet get divorced, have affairs, etc. While politicians should vote for what the believe in (whether its family values or not), it doesn't work that way. Should I post a list of democrats who voted a certain way, yet lived their lives differently? What about those that raise taxes, then find loopholes to help keep their taxes down. What about democrats that speak of family values, and then have affairs. It is a two way street here, so like I said, why are there no democrats on that list? Oh..thats right. I forgot that republicans are held to a different standard then their political counterparts...I'd have to say that the republicans listed do not think they have a moral supremacy, but its others who attempt to hold them to a supremacy...and give them at label. Its easy for democrats to set a bar, but then feel that they do not have to be accountable for the same things the rest of the world is.
