I wonder if NASA will ever put a cat in space as an experment? They put Dogs and Monkeys into space before.I would like to see how cats would react by floating around in space? What does everyone think about this?

I heard it is pretty hard to train cats, because if you tell that cat to press that red button, she would do it for once, and wouldn't do that twice or 3 times after she heard the word. Dog would press that button if you say "RED BUTTON", and do it repeatedly.

I got to go with the dogs on this one. Monkeys can do the job but I think a cat would be more fansciated with the weightless motions and sleep floating in the air with its tail curled up and sleeping just like he was at home. The only way that would really work is if you have a really smart cat who really does follow your commands almost each and every time. I would be surprised if a cat did go into space. It would be interesting.

A cats mind will be totaly confused cause if cat is floating in space he will think its time to reach the floor. But hes stuck in air his eyes will tell you ""What the hell is going on here?"" :D

Why not just stick the cat in an anti-gravity simulator? Same thing, almost.

cat wud freak out and meower... unbalanced..

Do not forget about... claws... *ripped the aparts* (hisssing escape air) How can you solution experment?

Cats are harder to train even though it can be done. But cats dont accept change well...Ive had enough experience with that such as moving to new apt--cat will run off to hide for days until used to new place.

Now imagine the cat going to space and becoming weightless?? The cat will freak out for few hours and try to scratch its way to a hiding place  The kitty will act nuts in space.

You're right. Cats don't take zero gravity well. The panic.
