Give Peace A Chance..

Looking into the small broken mirror
I know I should’ve written this letter sooner
I see the children grown taller
Has it been this long?

These nights are getting colder
I wish the war were over sooner
The photo of you and the children
Help me to hold on

And deep inside I know - this war is wrong
Our leaders knew this all along
They knew we would find nothing
Baby, what’s going on?
This war is so wrong

Let me just share something with yah
I use to think I knew what I was fighting for
I’m trying so hard to keep my head together
I thought I came here as a peace maker

But baby, I ain’t so sure, anymore
For the reason we got into war
But what’s going on
Is all wrong

I get this sick feeling that this war is based on a lie
I’m not sure if I’m the only one but I’m asking ‘why’
We have to see grown men cry
And walk the streets to see children die

We fight for a cause that doesn’t exist
And still our leaders persist
To take a knife
And cut our own wrist
Is there something I missed?
Cause it looks like we are the terrorists

After all this craziness
We find no evidence
We should’ve given peace a chance
We should’ve given peace a chance

Some people are terrorists in their hearts when they hate anyone. May Allah protect the innocent and those who worship only one God/Allah. Let us remember to show kindness of Allah to one another, and let Allah be the one to judge those who do not know his Grace, yet. Forgive them for they know not what they do....pray without ceasing.

And what about the Magnificent 19 the Arab world lavishes so much attention on ? and and what about innocent American lives were lost on 9/11/01 ? Before 9/11 really, I never knew what a muslim really looked like, much less believed and now I do. That poem is an anti-war poem and the American soldier that wrote the poem brought into the anti-war rhetoric combined with the enemy propangada prevelant throughout the Arabic world. Take a good look at that traitor Adam Azzam and he does not deserve to be called an American. He is a traitor and Adam Azzam should be shot.

I do not buy that poem, not even for a mintune. I do hope I am healed of deafness by God, The Lord Jesus Christ and I can minister to American soldiers and Enemy Prisoners of War and innocent muslims who have nothing to do with arabic terrorism. I can enlist in the U.S. Marine Corps and be fighting on the rooftops of Ramadi then the next mintune be comforting and ministering to the wounded and the dying, the innocent bystanders and also minister to Deaf muslim kids/adults and see many people get saved, converted and healed by The Lord Our God and return home to minister to the Deaf community here in America.

thread person creatd that got kidding me about muslim peom? ...Reba, Let me telling you about islam/ arab people never believe in poem for rest of their life.. you will notice in islam of temple or something, they never song themselves.... because they think person use voice of song which devil speaking through..

you seem to have some misconceptions about Islam. The place is called "Masjid" or "Mosque", not temple. The jews use that word. The christians called theirs "church". Not only non-muslims write poetry, we can write poems, too. lol. It gives outlet to our feelings. There are many websites that can clear many conceptions you may have about Islam.

This was definatly interesting. I think that It was the right thing to do, to go into Iraq. This is not to offend anyone we all have our own belifs. I think that If we hadn't, we would have lost alot more lives, by more bombs and attacks. But I do belive that we needa knew direction in Iraq.
