yeaaah you right! you means about those little ridges while continuing to cook the rest with the heat down in the bottom. I did that, important Chicken should not long cook. i do like always "sweet & sour chicken" and "Curry" and "chili- Knoblauch"

That mean about Orange Chicken. I never found it of Germany *sigh* I wont give up.

As for the Orange Chicken, perhaps the reason its so hard to find is because some of the better dishs takes a fair amount of prep time. Take for example this Orange Chicken Recipe, you need to let it marinate overnight. Some people just don't want to put that kind of effort into a single dish like that. :|

CHINESE ORANGE CHICKEN

3-4 juice oranges, unpeeled and sliced
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. Chinese spices
1-2 c. soy sauce
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Mix and let set 1 hour. Pour over cut up chicken and let set for 2 hours. Bake chicken in sauce at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minute or until chicken tender.

Hey, that looks like a good recipe!
Here's a Orange Chicken recipe for making in the crockpot.

Orange Chicken
(Time to make: ½ day w/ about 10 minutes prep.)
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 cup chopped onions (1 medium to large)
1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 ounces orange juice
1 teaspoon grated orange rind
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1. Combine salt, cayenne pepper, chili powder and paprika.
2. Sprinkle over chicken.
3. Set aside.
4. Place onion, celery, bell peppers and garlic in bottom of slow cooker.
5. Place chicken on top.
6. Mix orange juice, peel, honey, Worchestershire sauce and ginger.
7. Pour over chicken.
8. Cook for 6 to 8 hours on low temp setting.
