I just talked with my friend about visiting to grandparent in California nex year... She asked me which I do want full body or scanner? My answer is body pat-down! :ugh:

Which do you want the TSA's new full body scanners and enhanced pat-downs? & why?

I voted > Pat down body because that the radiation from scanner will be alike causing cancer. :Ohno:

I voted for NEITHER. I don't want guys to touch my junk. If it is a lady that do a full body, I wouldn't mind! :naughty:

I voted to hate full body scanners and enhanced pat-downs

Should require Secure Flight ID (government-issued ID) which is date of birth, gender and Redress Number or passport ID. Not drivers' licenses.

If body scanners poses risk to health then I would refuse to use one since I am frequent flier, I fly least 6 times a year. I would rather have someone to pat me down over the scanner unless the metal detector is still available to use. I had been wanded quite alot since I had the CI and they poses no problem and is much less uncomfortable to a person touching you.

I flew over thanksgiving from Huntsville (smaller city) to Miami (big city) and back and I got neither patdown nor scanner. Just went through the x-rays as normal.

I don't know why people assume that ALL of us ALWAYS get either one.

you are free to refuse to get scanned. the alternative is a pat-down.

what if you got a detailed pat-down or scanner? still gonna say same?

I voted either one, because frankly I dont care.. IF it does the job.

However, I DO question whether either are efficient in the first place. I am all about cost-benefit analysis.

Full body scanners = $$$
Pat down = time = more waiting time for travelers = negative benefit

Do they even REALLY stop anything?

I don't care. Personally, I'd rather do full body scan. Quick, easy, and painless. They get to see my naked body? Among the 500 other naked female bodies they have seen that day? WHOOPEE DOO.

Nope, they don't. It is obviously social engineering at work.

I saw the imaging scanners in Miami, but while I was waiting in line, only ONE man got into it. And I was in line for a good 5-10 min.

Huntsville is too cute and pure to have body scanners. :)

I have no yet decide. I probably will go for a scanner. everyone witnessed me that I gave birth to 2 babies.
I wonder does cellulite show on a scan?
