AIM Triton 1.5

Have you ever try with New Aim Triton 1.5 Preview for Windows and click on Download Now button to install it?

How do you like it? After I download it...and setup my screenname, etc...When I tried to chat with my friend through IM...strange, I cant even see my typing appears or see my friend's typing appears on my IM...

Do you have any idea why?
 
I like it because it has tab so I don't have to click on each aim converastion chat box. Whenever someone IM me, it'll flash then I click on the tab. It's easy! As for typing part...I don't see it either. Maybe on opition? :dunno: I'll have to check that out. I haven't use it for a while since I am using old AIM version. :)
 
it's not great. Because it come with AOL own itself browser

Most chat proggies are, though. Usually, you can uncheck the box, so that the browser won't be downloaded, or you can go into control panel and delete that part of the program. I did that with Yahoo Instant Messenger.

If you can't do that with AIM Triton, than that's a GOOD reason why I won't download it, and try to use it. I'm currently using an older version of AIM.
 
well i did download it, at first i dislike it. But get awhile, I like the part, so i can talk people while away message on, so not need to be bother. Well, I don't like AOL either..
 
www.download.com and type AOL AIM and voila!

That's what I did when I accdiently delete my old AIM and asked someone for help and got it back on. SO I keep both, AIM Triton and 5.9.

I did download to Aim Triton after I accidently deleted my original Aim. I didn't like Aim Triton at all. So I went searching and found this url, http://www.oldversion.com/ to download the very last one at the bottom. Now I am happy with my own Aim back.
 
Did you all have problems not able to see or read your friend's conversation with you on AIM triton??
 
Nope I had no problem. I like it though.

How do you read or see your friend's conversation on aim? because when I sign on...I click on my friend's screenname...then when I type..I can see my first typing says hello..then my friend type back...but I cant see his words at all...then when i type next..i cant see mine either...*scratch my head*

Do you have any idea why?

p.s. is this both girls kissing on your signature? or boy/girl? I cant tell which one...:lol:

Anyway I had no problem...I am not sure why your isn't working.
