Ahhh...who likes spa services?

Do you prefer to go to a day spa for services, or do spa services yourself at home? Or do some services at both places?

Services such as:

1. hair: cuts, styling, treatments

2. manicure and pedicure

3. body massage

4. facials

5. face and body waxing

6. aromatherapy

7. paraffin therapy for hands

8. whirlpool, Jacuzzi, or soaker tubs

9. steam showers or saunas

Do you have a favorite source for buying spa/health/beauty products? That is, do you shop at small stores (Body Works, or Bed, Bath, & Beyond, etc.), thru dealers (Avon, Mary Kay), on-line (DHC, Homedics), salons, or some other way?

I always have a professional do my hair. I had a pedicure professionally done once and I should do it more often. I loved soaking my feet in the soapy hot bubbly water and reading a magazine.

I rather go to spa and get it done so that way I will have to relax and not doing all the work for myself.

I don't mind having hair and nails done...it's the body massage I might have the issues with. LOL. I don't know how I feel about being touched in certain areas by a complete stranger!

Bear in mind, though, I've never been to a spa. Perhaps one of these days, this will change, though. There is discussion of perhaps going to one as a part of a pre-wedding celebration for a friend of mine - so I'm considering it.
