Bees Force Children To Flee Baltimore School :-o
26 Kids Taken To Hospital

BALTIMORE -- Emergency officials evacuated a Baltimore County elementary school after many children were stung by a swarm of bees.

Baltimore County Police spokesman Bill Toohey said a group of students were in the woods near Deep Creek Elementary School shortly after noon when they stumbled on a bees' nest. He said the angered bees began swarming around the children

Teachers and school officials whisked the children away to the school building.

Toohey said several children were stung and one child experienced an allergic reaction to the sting. He said 26 children were being transported to area hospitals for treatment.

Fire officials ordered the school evacuated and shut down.

Oh man, I am terrified of yellow jackets! When I was in 7th grade, one landed on my arm without provocation and stung me. It was horrible, and I feel bad for these kids! :(

My heart goes out for 26 children and hopefully will get their recovery soon.
 
yea hope they get recovered quickly...

personally i am allergic to bee stings.. i have been stung by bees sometimes at rock climbing areas... that is NOT funny ! i have to carry my med anywhere in case. sometimes i forget to bring mine.

when i was like 8, i stepped onto bee's hive underground in the wood. the swamp came out of controls and they went into my pants.. owie owie (my arms got goosebumps recently. heh) and i ran away for my life as i whrisked myself hardly. my legs were swallowed badly. i was brought to a hospital and , of course, i got 4 shots on my arms and butt. since then i have to take the med to anywhere.

in the reality the bees dont bother me. sometimes when they are curious around me, i am cool with them and sometimes if they go too close to me, i go like "please stay peace and i do no harm to yall !" somtimes they cooperate with me... sometimes if they dont cooperate, i wud go like i whack them with my quickdraws(climbing gear). :) sometimes i do fantasize how amazing they work n buzz daily.

the bees wud chase ya if u get freaked out and run away... the bees do just the same things as the bears or wild animals do. you have to control urself so they wont bother ya.
 
Beware of the killer bees that live in Southern half of the US, they're very aggressive, they sting repeatly, not once. Stay away from them at all the times. They come from Africa, but the scientists accidently broke something and the bees escaped and the population grew and spread up north all the way from South America. They were trying to breed a standard honey bee with a killer bee something.

Anything else to add. You can explain more, if anyone knows.
 
I've heard about that before. most bees are from Africa and also, when the bee stings you, it dies.

espeically on yellow jackets, wasps, and bubble bees.

Or bubble as in toil and trouble, dude. They give us enough bee pollen as part of our diets, they yell we hit the screen door too much, man. I mean they are killing us, but do they ever turn off the porch light? Nope.

is it called Efrin something I can't spell it. can you please tell me the name of the medication in case I need one for my oldest son once I talk to his allergist dr.

I got stung by Wasp during soccer game tournament. I was screaming and yelling to my coach to call timeout to pull me out of the game, my coach did not get it why I was jumping and yelling...looked like an crazed monkey on the field. LOL.

Ref had to time out and realized that I got stung, someone was there happened to be an nurse and was able to remove its stinger in my arm, I still have the scar. I have been stung by bumble bee, not pretty. Wasp, yellow jacket and I think that is about it.

I think my son is allergic to Mostiuqos (sp?)... once he get bitten by mostquito. His arm swell twice as big, may need to take him to see an dr and see if he needs that kind of medication that you have, but he took allergy test that he is not allergic to bee, but mostquitos...weird.

ahh i cant remmy a name of red/pink syrup. i will find out for ya. btw you can take benydrol for allergy. it works better. if pain is too severe, then take the red/pink syrup or go to emergency room for stronger shots.

Benadryl Allergy (any kinds allergic) which the best use.. for suitable children
(medation for children syurp) has invisble syurp.. tasty bubble gum.. My little son has alleric dust any kinds.. I use those.. includes as same bee allergy..

I hate bees period! long time ago when I wore floral dreses or something bees wud think I'm a flower :squint: so I stopped wearing flower dresses and etc.. cuz UGH of bees..
