AGT plays that same music for everyone whining.... its to add drama or make it feel dramatic.

Every talent show does that even The Amazing Race (usually the 'hook' of "I'm doing this for <insert family member>"

My hearing is "good enough" to be able to hear her and captions helped but she was very good. The fact that she had voice training before she became deaf helped a lot. I just saw it tonight so I avoided any stories/posts/comments (on FB).

And I may get flack... but she was miles better than the winner last year.
