I'm sure people have asked to add you on different networks on Facebook. I'm talking about sites that are not dating sites, but people ask to add you anyway. I'm a guy so not many people ask to add me. That is fortunate for me.

Sometimes, I wish I would have people asking to add me so that I would play game with their mind. You know, I would tell them to send a friend request. I would then deny the request. I would pretend that I accidentally deleted your request. Try again. Have fun with them if they want to be stupid to ask to add you as their friends on different groups.
 
If anyone asks me to play stupid FB games or attend impersonal events when I barely know them I instantly block them from inviting me to anything.
 
I like facebook, keeps me connect to a lot of friends. I get invited to stuff even if i cant go but i feel happy they still think of adding me in.

I had it for about 3 years... or something like that. DELETED! Even close friends of mine were starting crap over a friggin page! Just all stupid stuff honestly. I don't play into that drama crap, I just want to live my life as is. People can text me, that's how I keep in contact. That, or email. OMG and seeing the excessive whining that people do every 5 seconds made me want to SCREAM! :run: I actually have quite a few friends who deleted their Facebooks. :)

That reminds me of peoplr who post pictures all psoing and say "i am so ugly" and wwit for people say tell them they are pretty

Weird, I rarely run into that. My old bestie seems to be going through some stuff, she's had 2 relationships end badly the last couple years, but lately she has been a super grump, and showing it on fb. 2 on my list, one is my exhusband's exgirlfriend, the mother of his other kids, and the other a high school classmates are like hypochondriacs or something. Always oing to the doctor, going to the ER, getting tests of some sort, WTF?? But that's it. 3 out of 200 something ain't bad :D mostly my news feeds are full of funny stuff, food and Obama hate.

I know what you mean I've been thinking about deleting it for awhile ... people say they "talked" to me via FB messaging ugh ... I tell them if you want to reach me then TEXT me messages on FB isn't talking DAMN!!!! Do they text me? NOPE send another message asking "Where the heck are you?!?!?!" UGH

what exactly is the difference between a text message and a message in FB chat?? I'm trying to wrap my head around that. They'd say they same thing either way........

Actually the fb chat feature if you on the internet is kind of easier, and faster. just saying

I feel ya, like I said, that's why I got rid of that crap long ago...

I much prefer texting. I suppose I could talk on my phone if I wanted to when wearing the C.I. but I really do hate talking on the phone. Texting is so much faster and it comes right to me! DELETED! Best.... decision.... of... my life. No more drama, no more BS. Snipped in the butt! :D

He might not have a new iphone or Android where it goes right to the phone, he might have to check from PC? :P
 
Every time I post something on FB, I get about 80-90 likes within an hour. Oh yeah, and I know some of you guys friends. I haven't let that cat out of the bag yet. I just stalk you all.

I had 200 or so friends. ( I knew all mine ) I always hated when people had 8000 friends, and you know they didn't know like, ANY of them... :roll: Irritating. :P I guess people play it up on Facebook because they can act out in front of everyone. :dunno2: Or at least the people I knew did. BABIES!
 
I know a movie producer and a punk rock band member personally (went to school with and am friends with them) - they have a gazillion friends.

I don't use FB chat ... If I do send someone a message on FB I go into the message thing and do it that way ... and hardly ever post anything on there and not even on FB sometimes for days ... a text goes straight to my cell phone as soon as someone sends it I get it(unless the phone is off since I turn it off when I sleep cause I'm deaf and can't hear it anyways)

That is the fb chat lol and it's exactly like a text message. But I get notifications on my phone about fb stuff, so when you message me on fb, I'd get it just as fast as if you'd texted me. But yeah, I can see why you'd rather text if you don't get the notifications, or if you didn't have a smart phone. Me I don't really have preference one way or the other because it works out the same for me :)

I hear that!! I wonder if part of it is age difference? I must be at least 10 years older than you, maybe 15. Might be a difference in maturity of our aquaintances maybe??

I am friends with some of my kids friends on there. I have no idea why they want to add me other than I'm way awesome ;) they can be annoying. Truth is and rate!!! :roll:
