Hey!

Since we have AD Pet Peeves thread.. why not counter-balance the thread with AD Perks?

I'll start off with AllDeaf Perks!

I am really glad to be 'back' here so I can re-connect with my friends.

I am even more fortunate to learn that I can connect with my DeafBlind family here in AD. 90 love!

Let's pay it forward!

I think there have to be many more things good than bad.

I love almost everything about AD. Nice people, games, conversation, ASL videos from JClarke, too many things to mention all at one time.

If your thread goes on, I will probably be back as I think of more.

Meet people like myself
Great people...(well most)
Fun
Greattt time passer to post
Laughs
Jokes
Only here can u really joke about being deaf..with deaf ppl:)

ppl here understand miscommunication and the pros and cons of being Ddeaf/hoh ...not alot of ppl take into consideration how we may feel bout stuff...

P.S. great thread!

I enjoy being here...part of family....

It's fun, learn a lot of stuff that we don't know, jokes, laugh, support each other, many great conversations, etc

Great topic!

You see why I put the quote under my avatar.

I don't understand why my wife married me :hmm:

Aghori.. maybe your wife was purring when she knew ya were the one?!?!?! LOL...

Anyways...this is a nice place to meet some suckerrs..... eerrrrr...gophers here and interact somehow and share ideas and yap good.. heheh....

This is a great thread! It'd be nice to see a positive view for a change. :)

It is to connect with people all over the world and to learn from each other. I think that's the coolest thing as possible. Sure, we may have some few bad apples around here but that's not stopping us from learning from each other.

Even though, This forum is for Deaf people but yet, there are a lot of hearing members in here as well. It is a step for hearing members to learn from us and we also can learn from these hearing members as to how to see what views comes into play which is good. :)

Why, thank you!

I enjoy the AD board cuz I know that I am not the only person that struggles learning the awesome language that is ASL. I'm coming up on my 2 year anniversary since I started learning it and although I enjoy it, it's been really tough at times. Being here is cathartic for me. Plus you guys are nuts so I get entertained too, lol.

Also, were it not for AD, I don't think I'd ever get the chance to chat it up with deafblind people like Hear Again. :)

AD rocks!!

yup, i love the entertainment, the fun and the laughs. plus the cool deaf blind people like Hear Again and Mrs. Pots. hope i get to terp for yall one day.

I have made so many friends and I have learn so much.

I love to be on AD and I do learned a lot from all of you, ADers. Also I would prefer not to have anyone swear their off color language like MF, F..., and whatever they want to swear. I like a good clean conversation even if we are debating about Cochlear Implant, or hearing people want us to talk not sign and expect us to lipread (hot topics). That sucks. But we have good times answering questions that ADers are curious about and provide information for them to know what is deaf or hard of hearing plus hearing aids, CI, and how we live and need special devices for the Deaf like light signals, and close captioned. I had and still have a wonderful time with AD very much.

Like Society's Child said "AD ROCKS!!".

live.laugh.love.cares.benefit.experience.learning.and worth of our time to spend here.

thats simple.

The AllDeaf aim chat was great earlier.

As for AD perks:

Good thing is to meet wonderful ADers members in the forum as it is connected around the world.

It is a great forum for learning too. :)

Ditto. :) Alldeaf is a great way to meet deaf people all around the world. I've met some absolutely wonderful people in real life, and we are still close friends as of today, I would love to meet more wonderful people. :)
