do not confuse between asking them and bossing them around. I merely reminded matajan about the promise he made and asked why did he break the promise.

so are you telling me that it's ok if a person broke a promise to you?

I am saying you're asking matajan a very unreasonable question! He does not have to keep his promise to anyone here! Reba is no one to matajan, she has no business to tell matajan to stop watching movies! I am saying Reba has step out of line and and you have some issues if you think people can tell other what to do on this site! Get over yourself! If anyone told me to stop doing something here , I would tell them to take a flying fuck!

I would think that someone with Asperger's welcome some kinds of questions or statements. I try to stay out of this but questions asked, statements made to such an individual are not taken the same way most other people would react to them.

Same goes for me as well. I do work in NYC and live in NJ. The reason why I don't want to live in NYC: lame assed expensive car insurance if you have a car, the size of apt is too small at higher price of rent, some apts do not have any washers/dryers in them, etc.

Foooorggggeettt it!!

The apartment where I live in is a spacious size at the lower price in a quiet area, has laundry rooms on the premises. I am happy with it for now.

I didn't tell him that he must do what I say.

My post was in response to matajan's many posted questions about why characters in movies do things. He was basing many of his perceptions on movies, not real life. Hence:

I merely said, "I think you should take a one year sabbatical from watching movies. Can you do that?"

That was a suggestion, not an order.

Matajan replied, "I can do that."

I replied, "Good man!"

That's all there was to it.

If matajan doesn't want our advice and suggestions, then why does he keep asking for advice and suggestions? If he doesn't want answers, why does he ask questions? When we give those answers, advice, and suggestions (serious ones, not jokes) then it shouldn't bother anyone.

Apparently when matajan replied, "I can do that" it didn't mean the same as "I will do that."

That's his choice. If he wants to live out movie fantasies instead of facing real life, that's up to him. I don't want to boss him around, even if that were possible (which it isn't).
