About Sidekick

AllDeaf works fine. If you plan on using Sidekick for AllDeaf most of the time, you can change the style to "Mobile". That way, it will be more mobile-friendly. :thumb:

yes you can get on www.alldeaf.com and post there. I have posted many times in AllDeaf.com when I am stuck in traffic or bored while waiting etc.

But for www.deafchat.com, no you cannot due to java script.

in regard to last sentence.. wrong.. DeafChat is not based on java script (actually it is spelled "JavaScript" ) and JavaScript is entirely different from Java

Please see this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JavaScript#Java.2C_JavaScript.2C_and_JScript

Deaf Chat requires Java (not JavaScript) enabled web browser to access the chat room. This page: http://www.deafchat.com/havingtrouble.html tells you that you need to get "Sun Java Virtual Machine" for window users

more info on Java itself : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_programming_language

Please get it straight next time one ask :-D

Sorry but :ty: This is what I get for being computer challenged. ;)

They charged me $29.99 for browsing, messaging and email.

But I told that I already got AOL.com... and I don't want to
pay for 2 internet service.

I am paying $17 for AOL. and now I gotta pay $29.99 for tmobile internet.
It would be cool if AOL companies have their own sidekick, do they have one or not?

They used to have their own pager device, but it wasn't successful and cost them too much money. You are paying Tmobile $30 for the services that allow you to access other services.

The retail price was $300
And the special price I got from deafpager.com was $199.

So I paid $199
And I filled out rebate forms and mailed.

From mailbox,
I received $50 and another $50 = $100.

$199 - $100 = $99.

From mailbox,
I received $75 and another $75 = $150

$99 - $150 = -$51.

I got this sk2 for free and $51. YAY!!!!

This is a good deal.
