you still haven't given me a link.

based on my experience with forums... that kind of response is a giveaway.

I gave you all the information already. Again.
Still no requests I'm removing it.

After googling, apparently it is.

After posting the information to FB to prove I'm no fake, no requests, I'll take that as a hint you all are just looking for someone to pick on.

Thanks but no thanks. Thanks for giving me a wonderful first impression of the deaf/HOH community my daughter will be a part of.

Looks like you have come to the end of your script. I love the part about the first impression.:laugh2: What other poster has said that ad nauseum?

"Looking for someone to pick on"? Really, you need to take more care to change your wording so it isn't recognized.

So, I guess we aren't going to get the link to your FB page. Why am I not surprised.:laugh2: You offered no proof of anything except that you thought you were adaquately covering your behind.

But I do have to thank you for providing me with laughs all day.

I am sorry that you feel that way, but the way you put into words about how you want to be a perfect MOM to your hard of hearing daughter. It feel like you are still among all the hearing parent or parents who want to make their child or children hearing like them including you. You were hoping for your child to be hearing even with hearing aids, but still your child is deaf even if she has mild or moderate hearing loss. You can not expect her to be hearing like you. That is your whole dream like every hearing parent. Even my mom want me to hear very badly. It just make it worse if you keep doing that to yourself and to your daughter. That is why we are saying what we said to make you and other hearing parents understand why it is important to have ASL with other accommodation to help us learn in the school system. :(

The sad part is that she won't be part of it. You want her to speak like a hearie; no doubt so that it is easier for you. Not her. You've said that there is a chance that her hearing loss will become progressive with age. This would be a strong indication that she should learn sign now, as well as you and your family, but you refuse. Not much help we can give you.

I do understand what you are saying. I am not expecting her to be hearing like me. I accept my child for what she is and that's fine with me. I just want her to be happy and healthy (and that she is). Listen, she is my responsiblity and every parent wants to the best for their child. This is all new to me and it's a lot of information. I have already corrected myself on using the word perfect and said that I wish to so the best job I can at being her mother. I feel like from the very beginging of this post I was picked apart. I understand I don't know everything, probably only a portion of what you all know but I'm learning and I'm trying.

there are plenty of other deaf forums that may be more fitting for you if you're feeling picked apart in here.

I have posted the information to find my facebook 2x now and have removed it so because no one requested me.

Why the heck not? It's a jungle in here and some things are born to be eaten alive.

Dang! I'm impressed with that referencing! I thought I was the only Sinclair fan in here!:giggle:

Interesting choice of words. What exactly is she besides a little girl who happens to be deaf? :hmm:

I think the OP has a considerable amount of venom.. :ugh:
