I've already stated my views on women's rights, but I'll quote them again, in case you missed it.

And I am very aware that the slippery slope is a fallacy, that's why I told Byrdie that I was disappointed he was using it.

Yes, dear. I am aware of that. I am also quite aware of the inconsistencies contained in such.

Byrdie did not use the slippery slope argument except to refute your use.

Look back a page and you'll see how he said my views were going to set women's rights back 50 years, then said that if that was what I wanted, to cook him dinner, clean the house, etc...

I'd love the evidence of where I used it, though.

The scary thing about some of your arguments is that it's almost setting back women's rights another 50 years. But if that's what you want, then I want my house cleaned, dinner on the table, shirts ironed, laundry done, and when you are good and tired--satisfy me.

Seriously--I don't think you want that.

Allow women the right to decide for thmeselves, afterall, isn't that what you want? To be able to decide for yourself?

It says, "some of your arguments." I didn't say ALL.

You mean you don't recognize where you have used it? Go back several pages.

For whatever it is worth, you've made so many good arguments. ;) I didn't find myself disagreeing with you. ;)

Of course. Women's rights don't seem to be a motivating issue for you, either.

Just Agree to disagree and stop bashing on people's opinions.

That's what a debate is. It's a discussion of opposing viewpoints. If we all just sat around agreeing to disagree with one another, it wouldn't be a debate, now would it?

The discussion would go something like this...

Person A: Abortion is murder.
Person B: Abortion is a medical procedure and nothing more.
Person A. Well, I agree to disagree with you.

The debate would end.

Now, we have more than two people arguing their viewpoints, but you get what I'm saying. I don't think if someone disagrees with you, it's necessarily "bashing". It's disagreeing and we all have the right to do that. ;)

:gpost: and if one doesnt like it, then dont read nor respond to it!

Can I say something nice to someone without someone else turning it into something negative?

The above was meant to be nice? That's the only negative appearing in the last several posts.
