so DPHH was interesting as always. met some friends I know. met some new friends. there's this Ecuador guy who was bit hard to understand but after some conversing, I understood him. He travels for business back and forth from Ecuador to USA. His signing was a mix of ASL and his native signing. After I understood him and learned a few signs from him, I introduced him to my friends and they had some trouble understanding him so had to do some explaining. He's an interesting fella.

That was interesting. I have never forget about my old times, that time we didn't have name for DPHH yet. Every year, in november right after thanksgiving, everyone get together at south street seaport nyc there. Then everyone gets together at OBI during early summer time. I remember there were one or two more special occassions that i cant seem to remember which month were. Most of those parties were in LI. I heard that OBI is gone for good. I heard that south street seaport nyc is no more.
I also remember when the old times, I met so many deaf people who use ASL, then the following years later, I start to meet people who are HOH, Hearing loss, who didnt know ASL but learning, and hearing people and more. I am so please that they are willing to be part of the usa deaf community.
