I found a maroon 1990 Caprice wagon for sale. I made plans to go on Saturday to get it. I then backed out. I gambled. I backed out because I was hoping to win this wagon...

I did not win it. So, well, my weekend was a complete failure.
 
Did you pet the dog?
Did you hug the girlfriend?
Did you abstain from throwing things at people when/if they made you angry?
Did you eat something?
Are you breathing ok?

Your weekend was not a complete failure.

But sorry to hear about the cars.
 
This old car isn't really important for you so not worry about have a bad weekend.

A failed weekend for me would be be a weekend of working 30 plus hours at my 2nd job.

would if i could,won bottle of port too..so i what do have glass of port on dereks behalf and hope he will enjoy it...

i see couple ambulances going pass,the person and family in there having bad day,old gal next door told never get sight back that bad day....little boy in childrens home opposite me, his mother cut his penis off....
those are bad days

Jeez, Caz12...did you find out why the mother cut her sons penis off?....Hopefully, they found the penis and could reattach it ??...there was a case here years ago about Lorena Bobbitt that did that to her husband....Did the mother get prison time or a mental hospital?
 
A miserable weekend to me would be losing your house in a Hurricane and having no place to live.

a choice? not exactly a choice if you have bills to pay and mouths to feed.

30 hrs on weekend + 40+ hrs on weekdays. doesn't sound like a choice. this is what happens when the riches get their way and when regular misguided folks buy into GOP's scam such as supporting tax cuts for the riches.

Yup, I agree with you and I felt it wasn't choice to have more than one job to support the life, including expenses and bills.

For me, I probably need have 2-3 minimum wage jobs to meet my needs, but lucky, I was able to receive a sufficient support from my family without looking for jobs and put in jeopardy with attend/absence and work safety issue.

Now, I'm pursuing my dream to complete the college degree. :)
