I have a dog, his name is Trouble.

Yes, really. Of course, the name is self-explanatory. Trouble is a two year old pure-blooded mutt of absolutely unfathomable lineage. In order to describe Trouble, I'll have to ask you to imagine a cross between a white/fawn colored Springer Spaniel and an Austrailian shepherd, with very long, misshapen freckled legs and floppy, pointed ears that have a tendency to flop the wrong way-- inside out-- in short, he's pretty comical looking. Trouble is his given name, but we also call him Pajama Boy because for some reason, he looks like he's wearing Pj's, or at least, he looks like a dog wearing a dog suit. Another name we call him is Trouble Bubble, because he loves to play in our bathtub (only when it is empty of water), rolling around and sticking his nose in the drain hole. Total goofball.

One of the Trouble's favorite things to do (besides play with his toys) is to make messes. Hence his name. But even more than making messes, he LOVES to be stinky. If there's another dog's doo-doo anywhere in rolling distance, you can be sure Trouble will find it and roll in it. Maybe it's a good thing we nicknamed him Trouble Bubble because he sure does get a lot of baths. Just the other day he discovered a lovely pile of LIQUID dog feces (we often have other dogs stray into our yard and do their business) and immediately rolled in it, unbeknownst to me (wasn't paying attention) and so I had to run in the house, grab a bucket of warm water and soap, and proceed to give Trouble a bath in a not-too-happy manner, while gagging :barf: :barf: and trying not to breathe in the horrible stink. On top of that I had to do it BARE-HANDED, due to lack of rubber gloves, etc..Meanwhile he stood there wagging his tail, thoroughly enjoying the aroma and happy as a clam to have all this extra undivided attention. Grrrrrrrrrr....

I don't have a pic of Trouble to post yet, but one of these days I'll try and get one posted!

:dizzy:

May I make a suggestion? Clean up the poop by raking the poop and throw it away. That way they wont roll over the poop. I gotta do that in front of my yard cuz I dont want the kids to step on it. Sigh yea I know it not fun but better then to clean up the mess. :D

Hi Pom,

We do clean up the doggy doo regularly. However the stuff that Trouble found was deposited by a stray dog, and we didn't even see it. It wasn't in the usual "Doggy doo" area of our yard (where the dogs have their tie-up cables) and so we had no idea it was there. Unfortunately that day I decided to let Trouble run "free" instead of being on his cable, which was why he was able to find it. Ugh.. I guess from now on I'll have to hunt around the entire yard to make sure there are no stray doggie doo's before I let Trouble have his "free run" time.

We have another, older female dog, and Trouble never rolls in hers. Only stray dog doo, if he can manage to find it, is attractive to him. Hmmm... wonder why?

Our other dog's name is Ichaya, she's a black lab/rottweiler/german shepard mix, totally sweet and beautiful but dumb as a box of bricks.
One of these days I hope I can post both their pics! I love your Pom pic! Everyone here has such adorable pets!
