A deaf racer on reality TV show needs your votes

Dear Friends,

Recently, a reality TV show called "Racin' for a Livin'" selected 50 race car drivers to "audition" for their show.

I have exciting news to share with you - I have been chosen to be one of those drivers! I am the only deaf driver selected and I must be in the top 12 drivers to get on the show.

If I win the show, I will get 7 sponsored rides in the 2007 NASCAR's Busch Series season! This would be a dream come true for me and my family and put another positive spotlight on Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community.

But, I want you to be able to share in my success, and, I need your help.

Here's how you can help make sure I'm one of the top 12 drivers:

Wow! What a week it has been! I took time off from work this week to promote the new reality show, Racin’ for a Livin’ and asking people to vote for me.

Responses have been GREAT! My ultimate goal is to be #1, the TOP vote getter. As of this afternoon, I ranked number 12 in overall voting on the Racin’ for a Livin’ website. Only top 12 vote getters can get on the reality TV show!

Currently still in the 12th position--much luck as this continues! ;)

Perhaps we'll have the opportunity to see your chances of driving in the Busch Series next year and hopefully you will accomplish such a lofty and awesome goal!


Another thing, do you have any suggestions or good advices for inspiring drivers (most notably for the Deaf/HoH) and what ways they could possibly live out this kind of dream? As for myself, I would love to have such an opportunity, but that sort of dream is fading away, yet, I know there may be countless of others that would go for it at the very first chance when presented such an opportunity. ;)
