I used i711 for most of the time due service is useful until somehow it has change.

For example; relay doesn't understand and ask repeat.. so i hang up and use different relay operator. It is same issue and learn those relay is from Canada and those people didn't good job?! I am kind disappoint with i711 that use the most of time and I don't know why not use best or doing well job to service the Deaf communties.

I began to stop using i711 until they improve their system.

Which service are you talking about regarding of i711? Text or Video???



I had NO problem using i711. i711 staff are very cooperative with me. I'm just disappointed with Hamilton Relay (Java based Inspirechat). They refuse to help me resolve problem with Java issue. Java works fine on any website on my laptop, Inspirechat was the only one that don't work (it was screwed after using registry cleaner software). I reinstalled stand alone Flashplayer for i711 and it works like a charm!! That's why I'm sticking with i711.

Be nice if Hamilton Relay's Inspirechat would use Flashplayer instead of Java. So I can use it on Linux. I've download and install Inspirechat on Ubuntu and it failed to work. They sux!! i711 works nicely in Linux.

I have no problem with i711 online AIM. Last time I used relay was on the laptop when we were in Pittsburgh. So we had no problem.
 
I am not try or sound rude.

Try and call 800 UPS number and asked if the office that you called USA or Canada.

For example;

IPRelay: I
IPRelay: am
IPRelay: glad to solve the problem. We will transfer
IPRelay: (asking for spell)
IPRelay: S A L
IPRelay: E Department

Image that each lines; I was like what the heck and is the operator real a monkey or human. Know what I am saying, guess your are lucky most of time ;)

LOL, Had that same thing once in a while. Sometime operator trying to keep up contact with you.. They don't want you to just wait for them to finished typing. They may be slow typer tho.

With the mass entering, they might just be trying to get the message to you faster. All relay services have their issues, but I've personally found i711 great.

My only issue with it was, after I got my mobile phone connected to a braille display, it sometimes would take me too long to receive a message and reply, and the operator would hang up after 30 seconds.
 
I understand if they are try keep fast message.

The "FAST" isn't my interesting, I am interesting better service not like infamous quote from CSDVRS "WHOA FAST CONNECTION!"

Know what I mean, I guess zip my lip and go on but I already filed complaint and appear I am picky about it :ugh3:

More I picky on them and they will service us well.

100% Truth, I haven't any problem with i711 service since 100 B.C. they serve me very well! ;)

I hope you will find right relay service and serve you as well..
