Have you heard or seen a 6 yrs old boy who insulted his uncle by different name for example like the uncle's real name was Robert but the boy said "Oh hell I'm gonna call you Uncle Ralph?" is that nasty comment by a 6 year old boy?
 
insult? To me, I do not consider it as insult. :dunno: Can you explain why you consider it as insult because Ralph is not Uncle´s name?

Did Uncle asked him why he like to call him Ralph?

Anyway, Ralph is a German name. :)

I think it is insulted...for saying "oh hell..." this is inappropriate for 6 yr old to say nasty comment...but I also can see this boy was being sarcastic (teasing) to his Uncle... :dunno:

Scarstic tone or Regluar Tone or Rude remarks tone... Depend how's sound his tone.. ?

Seems like a fresh-mouth kid. His parents should have corrected him. That is bad language and disrespectul.
 
It is disrespectful. A child should respect his or he elders. My nephew is six, and he calls me by my first name. When he's being corrected by me, I expect him to answer me with .."Yes, Aunt S______" Kids need to be tought respect, and you must do it early. If you don't, you're in deep doo doo when the kid gets older.
 
Come on.. hes only 6 years old..

its all kids talk --- kids are kids, they do all talk.. being stupid or nasty or silly...

its not insult.. to me.. if you feel offend.. just say to this boy.. its not his name.. his name robert.. if he talks back.. ok, btw its Uncle...
and walk away..

if show aggersative or talk back -- put him time out.. or walk away if its not your child.. if your nephew or cousin, talk to his parent..

I think he was been a smart mouth. Really he should be calling his uncle a proper name like Robert, not Ralph. Maybe his uncle is fat etc...You ever see a film called " King Ralph". Maybe he use that!!! Cheeeky little bugger!!! :)
 
I don't see how that is insulting really, the kid is 6 anyway, he don't know better.
