Late last night, we had Oreo out on the porch, and when she first saw the fireworks, she looked at it with AWE! 
She watched it all across the sky. smile.gif Then the next firework shot up, and made a loud noise, BANG! It scared Oreo out of her wits! It scared her so much she started jumping around in my Mom's arms (she was holding Oreo).
Since she didn't like the noise, I let her sleep in my bed with me until almost midnight when the fireworks stopped....she felt comfortable then. LOL
After it was almost midnight, I put her back in her own bed and she slept there.
Then I went to watch my TV to see the ball drop at NYC' Times Square....as I changed the channel, I saw a bit of the "Twilight Zone" show where these people's faces ended up looking like their own masks; and in a Spanish channel, a guy who had blood all over him and even on the cigarette he was smoking trying to wipe off a writing on the floor but it was covered with blood. Then it showed a dead woman with the same blood that it was flowing from towards the writing on the floor. Eww....anyway, I continued changing the channel, and finally found the Times Square ball...it was dropping already then 2006!!!!! I got there to see it in the nick of time!
Then I smiled, and went to Oreo in her own bed and told her "Happy New Year"...and covered her up some more with her own blanket so she can sleep during the night.
Well, now it's the new year and I am going to start new in everything.
