How do you know to make 3Ds May?

Its a nice program, but having two program (Modeling and Scene) can get somewhat annoying.

Im a huge fan of Lightwave 9 program. I have Maya 8 program but i haven't try it. i will study Maya program for next year in high education (post grad). Dislike 3d studio max because it not profession enough to use this program for my work but it good for learning.
There is few film use in Lightwave as "300", "star wars", "Sin city", "Titanic", and "Battlestar Galactica".
When my first time i use Lightwave, it was hard because there is many things to remember as process.....
